Town 77

 

City building as a solitaire puzzle or a strategi puzzle for 2 or more players. The residents of Town 77 are very egocentric and do not want houses of the same style or color in the neighborhood. You have tiles in hand which show a house in one of seven styles and one of seven colors/patterns. Colors/patterns are also visible on the back of the tiles- In a 7x7 grid you place a tile in row or column, adjacent to a tile already in place and of a color and style not yet present in row or column. Then you can draw a tile or not but cannot later raise the number of tiles in your hand. If you cannot place a tile, you are out; when all are out you win with fewest tiles in hand.
