Der Herr der Ringe Adventure Book Game

 

The Journey to Mount Doom as an adventure of eight chapters, all card stacks and additional components are prepared according to the chapter. A turn comprises 1) Movement, 2) Story telling with actions – exchange, discard cards and move character, complete challenges by discarding cards, play special cards, play “The One Ring” card; 3) draw story cards; 4) draw in resolve action card, 5) discard cards. If you cannot draw an action card, the chapter is lost. If a chapter is won, alle special cards are kept for the next round, the value of the disaster track remains for lost or won chapter. If all eight chapters are won, the game is won, and it is lost if the end of the disaster track is reached before that.
