You want to own the best and most valuable collection of art, to acquire paintings and place them attractively. But trends vary and unwanted paintings go to the museum and influence the value of collections. The five phases of each round are: 1) Prepare auction – painting equal to number of players + 1 are displayed on the museum board; 2) Make bid – all select and reveal a bid card; 3) Select and place paintings in order of bids; 4) Adapt trend – the left-over painting goes to the museum, the trend marker is relocated and you score for paintings; 5) End of round – the auction hammer is passed. If someone has filled his gallery completely or owns two surplus paintings or all have played all their bid cards, you check your left neighbor for placement faults and then score paintings in your gallery, decorations, eye level, complete collections and penalties for paintings you had to store.
