Love Letter

 

The beautiful princess is waiting for her dream lover, but the king wants to marry her to a prince of his choice. The princess wants true love, not power and wealth, and only someone who touches her heart will win her hand – so we must get our love letters to the princess. We need helpers in the palace to ensure that our letters will reach her. This new edition features 21 character cards: Princess (9), Countess (8), King (7), 2x Chancellor (6), 2x Prince (5), 2x Handmaiden (4), 2x Baron (3), 2x Priest (2), 6x Guard (1), 2x Spy (0). To play the original version for four players, you take both chancellors, the spies and one guard out. The game is played in rounds: You draw a card, play a card open-faced and implement its effects; the cards remain visible. When all cards have been used, you win a heart if you hold the highest-ranking character of the palace. Whoever holds 3-5 hearts, depending on the number of players, wins.
