Port Royal Das Würfelspiel

 

Double-sided sheets show one of four chapters, player agree on a chapter for a game and select a free starting island in turn. As active player you have the phase Discover alone and then all players resolve the phases of Trade and Hire.  For Discover you roll both dice, place ship or ship wheel on the board and decide to roll again or stop. You can reroll until you would have to place a second ship of a color on the board, this ends your turn without result. If you stop, all in turn can take ship or ship wheel from the board; ships give you slots to mark on your sheet or unlock characters, ship wheels give you special abilities. The first to reach 20 points wins. Sudden Death offers a variant for end-of-game and winning.
