Deal with the Devil
Four kingdoms at the End of the Dark Ages, two ruled by mortals, torn in their conflict between striving for power and pleasing the church; one ruled by a secret cultist who already succumbed to temptation, and the fourth one ruled by the devil. Player roles are secret and allow individual strategies based on different starting resources and different ways to score, each one wants to win with most points from architectural renaissance in their realm. In five rounds you resolve phases: Production – Cards – Deals – Actions – Interest – Reputation as well as Witch Hunt in rounds 2 and 3 and Inquisition at the end of rounds 3 and 8. In each phase you can buy or sell resources or take out a loan. Who keeps his soul pure, who makes a deal with the devil?
