Fairy Lights

 

Collect sets of identical colors for most stars. Cards in five colors show different numbers of lights; five cards are displayed, the rest is stacked face-down. The active player must reveal a card from stack when no cards are in the display, and can reveal one or more cards if there are 1-4 cards in the display. If you reveal a card of the same color as the previous one, your turn ends immediately. Otherwise, you then take cards: If 1-4 cards are on display, you take all cards of one color of your choice; if five cards are displayed, you select and take two colors of your choice. Taken cards are sorted into your display by color, you can have only one set per color. Sets with 3 lights or a multiple of three go face-down into your stack; sets with 1-2 lights remain in your display, sets with any other number of lights in them are discarded and go out of play. When the stack is empty and the current turn completed, you score one point for each star in your stack and lose a point for each star in incomplete sets in your display.
