Die Quacksalber von Quedlinburg Die Alchemisten
At the Quedlinburg Bazar, quacks, and charlatans brew potions. The Die Alchemisten expansion features, besides new ingredient books, soothsayer cards, alchemist beakers and essence cards, patients for the quacks. Each patient demands a special essence for healing, which is brewed in the alchemist beakers and earn bonuses. Between brewing and scoring an additional phase, the Essence phase, is resolved - you brew an additional essence from your potion, regardless of an explosion of the cauldron or no explosion. In the final round the essence does not earn you a bonus, but one victory point for each step advanced on the alchemist beaker.
