On a main board and four adventure boards featuring locations from the book players embody members of the Fellowship of the Ring and try to bring The One Ring to Mordor. Each board sets them different tasks. Some tasks the fellowship must solve together, some the active player on his own. The tasks are always resolved by discarding cards, all players can contribute cards. If you fail to resolve a task Sauron moves. When Sauron meets a player, this player is out of the game. If Sauron meets the Ring bearer, the game is lost for all – sometimes a Gandalf card is the last resort. New edition 2020, jubilee edition with miniatures.
