Adventure Games Grand Hotel Abaddon

 

In analogy to adventure games for PCs, players work their way cooperatively across rooms, have adventures and resolve tasks. Players choose a character and receive health cards. The active player moves his hero into an open, discovered room and resolves and action; at any time, you can hand over or swap adventure cards. New rooms are discovered via texts in the adventure book. Actions are researching location numbers by reading text in the adventure book, or combining two adventure cards or combining an adventure card and a location number. Instructions must be complied with.

In Grand Hotel Abaddon, you solve the mystery of Hotel Abaddon, in Chapter One, you explore the hotel and find an entry for the Bell Tower; in Chapter Two you need to learn more about the ghosts and find you way through the hedge labyrinth. In Chapter Three you need to start the ritual.
