Rune Wars : Kampf um Terrinoth Banner des Krieges

 

Adventures in the Runebound universe, as a hero you want to experience adventures, master tasks and confront danger, all for fame. You control armies in the land of Terrinoth, rule your home region and must conquer territories, hire heroes and acquire enough Dragon Runes to conquer Terrinoth and to win the game. You play rounds for seasons including implementing of Season Card as well as choosing and implementing sequence cards. Whoever controls six regions with Dragon Runes at the end of a round or whoever controls most regions after six seasons, wins.

Banner des Krieges introduces new elements - new units for factions, new heroes, command markers, alternate city markers, Sunken City, markers for Capital, Wasteland, Ice Desert, Zombies and Farmers. There are new cards for quests, orders, heroes, goals, rewards, seasons, tactics, titles, victory condition for alternative game ends, developments, and commanders as well as reinforcement tiles and board tiles. The rules of the core game apply with the additional rules for the new elements.
