The Road to Canterbury A Game of Pilgrims, Pardoners and the Seven Deadly Sins
Seven Deadly Sins as a source of cash for a medieval Pardoner; but selling forged pardons is not enough to remain in business - you need the lure the pilgrims into temptation; each committed sin, however, brings Death one step nearer to the Sinner, and you cannot do business with a dead pilgrim! In your turn you must play a card - Sin, Pardon or Relic - or pay a penalty of three Gold and then discard any number of cards and draw as many in hand. Then you draw card after card until you have five in hand and refill displays if necessary. If you draw a Death card, you place it next to the Company of the same color. When all pilgrims are in Canterbury, you win after a final scoring with most gold.
Set collecting and majorities game with cards for 2-3 players, ages10+
