West Riding Revisited: Free Mergers

 

Simulation of railways development in England; when all cities are controlled by the two corporation or all uncontrolled cities cannot be brought under control anymore, or there was no track bought in this round, you win at the end of the round with most money. A round comprises acquisition - each player must offer a basic share for sale, trade - each player can swap a pair of basic shares for a company share of the respective corporation, income - dividends for shares, and change of turn order - the richest player becomes starting player.

Free mergers: Only rules; various cities are not equipped with cubes at the start of the game; during the game, players decide which companies will be part of the two corporations; no LNER and LMSR shares are placed at that point into the „Aktion im öffentlichen Besitz - Publically Held Shares“ area next to the board.
