West Riding Revisited: Hull & Barnsley Expansion

 

Simulation of railways development in England; when all cities are controlled by the two corporation or all uncontrolled cities cannot be brought under control anymore, or there was no track bought in this round, you win at the end of the round with most money. A round comprises acquisition - each player must offer a basic share for sale, trade - each player can swap a pair of basic shares for a company share of the respective corporation, income - dividends for shares, and change of turn order - the richest player becomes starting player.

Hull & Barnsley Expansion: A new board tile is added; at the end of each Buy & Build phase the purple cube on the H&B Clock is advanced one slot; if it reaches 3, the owner of the H&B share or of the highest Turn card places the cube on a hex adjacent to a hex with a previously placed purple cube, towards Barnsley, but not in a city or metropolis. Hull & Barnsley pays dividends equal to the number of purple cubes on the board.
