Kodama Duo

 

In three cultivation periods, you cultivate your tree with the right mixture of flowers, insects and branch arrangements. You begin with a trunk card at the edge of the table and four Kodama cards in hand. A period starts with the announcement of the current decree for branch arrangements; in the growth phase, one player is Splitter and splits three cards into two piles; the other player is chooser and selects one of the piles. Then both players add one card to their tree, score for the addition and the owner of the surplus card discards it while the other claims a spirit token. Then roles are swapped. When four cards are placed, you select one of your Kodama cards and score your tree. After three such rounds you win with most points.
