The active player draws a beer mat from the stack and adds it edge to edge next to another already on the table; you can rotate it in any direction; one of the four landscape squares must correspond to one on adjacent mat. Then you put one of your Hägars or one gold on a square of the newly placed mat. The mat with beer must be placed with the beer pointing to the player placing it. After the last mat is placed, a die is rolled once and each player can relocate one of his Hägars on another square of the same terrain type. Then you score each terrain with your own Hägar for gold and controlled areas with adjacent shield, Hägar markers in rows or columns corresponding to the die roll count double.
