Events
The historian of the round selects an event – 300 are listed, including information for the historian to base his clues on – and provides ten clues. After each clue, players secretly note a guess, they are revealed at the end. The clues given by the historian follow a given template: #1 names a broad category, e.g. culture, and marks a rather big region on the world map. Clues #2,#4, #6, #8 and #10 are the answer “yes” or “no” to a question posed by any of the other players; #3 is a time period, #5 restricts the region, #7 names a sub-category and #9 is a rather direct clue without giving the actual answer. When all clues are given and all guesses noted, all guesses are revealed and players score for the moment the guessed correctly, from 100 to 10 points from the first to the tenth clue.
