Village
Life in the village is hard, and yet the villagers thrive as men of the church, administrators or travelers. Family members that are inscribed in the village chronicle earn you fame for your family. At the start of the round influence and pestilence cubes are placed on the action spaces; then each player in turn has an action. He takes a cube of his choice and executes this action. There is influence on skill for crafts and travel, Persuasiveness for market and council chamber, faith for church and travel und knowledge for crafts and travel. Pest cubes reduce life spans. At the end of the round a mass is read, figures advance in the church hierarchy and prestige points are awarded. Some actions and pest cubes cost you time, when the marker crosses the bridge, your eldest figure dies. It is placed either in the village chronicle or an anonymous grave. When one of those locations is full the game ends and you score for travel, council chamber, church, village chronicle, customer tiles and coins.
