S. Jorge Trophy
The Fortress of St.George in Lissabon over the centuries has housed a variety of peoples and personalities, Moors, Christians, Romans and others. The legend tells that former inhabitants meet every 1000 years to play out the Tournament of S. Jorge to win the trophy and to reign over the castle for the next 1000 years. If you are the first to collect three real trophy markers you win the game. Each player chooses one of the historical characters featuring special abilities and then chooses one base location from one of the two location cards held. In a turn a character can move up to 5 steps, one step less for each trophy marker it carries. At the start of the move you can turn the character by 90 degrees. Trophy markers are deposited at the base and you draw a new location card for collecting another marker. You can also take markers from other players and can carry up to three markers at the same time.
